Re: GL BI-WEEKLY Wing Night
Yep - Bo's knows wings ! Also, min drink quotas = fail The min drink thing was a fairly moot point tbh, it seems to work out you order drinks for each wings anyways edit: though for the size of the wings it does prevent one from ordering 20 at once :/ the wings were pretty damn epic - best salt and...

Re: GL BI-WEEKLY Wing Night
Yes, excellent salt & pepper
The drink policy and lack of debit is a little off, but the wings alone may still be worth it

Re: Looking for older computer
All these software solutions dont give any clue as to how they perform compared to anything. Does your average computer have what it takes to compete with a dedicated hardware solution running custom processors with almost no bus overhead? Well, as for FreeBSD anyways, a P4 3.0 with 2gb of RAM can ...

Re: SmarchLAN 2010 - March 19-21
If you want a high performance router, there's very little that can beat a FreeBSD gateway with ipfw.... not exactly the most user friendly option however :P Other than that, these things: http://routerboard.com/ are rather cool, and can be made to load balance. I've never tried one myself but have ...

Re: SmarchLAN 2010 - March 19-21
Hell the $75 for 15mbit is a great deal if we can do that every time there's a LAN (with no other setup fees etc) - even that is half the price of shaw, and that speed should be fine.

Re: SmarchLAN 2010 - March 19-21
Did we ever figure out if the modem trick would work?
Especially since this service was never actually de-activated - the modem should theoretically work as if it was just working normally at its proper home, as long as it's within the same 'region'
