We just built a new colo beside our office.
Gb network on a 100Mbit fiber link.
Customers will have fiber, ethernet, and phone connections available.
When everything is done there will be a lobby to watch TV and a workstation comp to surf/test on.
Each rack will have two dedicated 15A circuits. Future racks will have the capability of 20A if required.
Our building is on a 2 hour UPS with a 10 hours automatic generator.
We expect to be ready in the next couple of weeks. The hvac guys are setting up the AC tomorrow and we just need to pull power. our old colo was always full and we had to turn away business because of it, so this one's much bigger.
Price isn't set in stone yet, but it seem's it's going to be $1300/mo for a rack or $60 per U + $60 for a connection for a shared rack.
