My boss damaged his imation mangnus 1.2 tape. Anyone have an old tape they wanna part with?
Dropping logic while you were in the nutsack.

There are some tape backup's out now with huge capacity, from what I have seen. I can't imagine how slow they would be though! Backing up all that data would take forever.

tape is a very good medium for reuse and reliability.

Tapes can be very fast sceter, faster than say optical media.
And larger.

External hard drives are prone to failure when moving them around offsite and such.

Might be less expensive, and easier to find, a new medium type, with higher capacity than 1.2 GB.

Multiple External USB drives would be more cost effective I bet.
