Hey guys, Im looking for an iOS tablet, if anyone has an iPad 2+ or an iPad mini they no longer want let me know. dont want to pay new because its solely a media player for my truck and will be dash mounted. Android is a great OS but to be honest, 10 months after owning android. I cannot "like" the music player, or any media player really... only because its far too much converting of my Itunes library to make it work and i still dont get album art. I want something I can sync every week and have all my files sync with a "set it and forget it" format. shoot me a message if you have such a device.

Just curious. What do you have to convert to play on android?

ITunes lossless codec won't play.
Vids bought from iTunes. (Goes for any service though)

No store.

And music players have been crap when randomizing music and setting up playlist and mixes.

But last update was a improvement.

yes i will admit that, there was a large improvement. the things i have to do to get music on my phone (Sam GS3)... Take my full library (~3500 songs) and send it to a program such as tune clone, which takes on average about 8 seconds a song to convert to MP3 files... 8*3500= 28000 seconds=466.66 mins... see my issue? then i move those songs to my phone in windows which again just unnecessary waiting for 23gb of music to move folders. and everytime i get a new song i have to send it to said program to get it on my phone just a PITA more then anything. but also i lose all album art, ratings, play counts, and MOST important of all... I lose ALL playlists! which may not be a big deal to some but most of my 25 or so playlists contain between a few hundred and almost 2000 songs! remaking them isnt an option... thats the only reason i dont just use my uber-beefy phone for music, its just is a pain in the ass!

By the way, Google has a program called Music Manager

From the Google Play Music Manager, you can:

Upload music from your iTunes library, Windows Media Player library, My Music folder or folders of your choosing to Google Play
Choose to upload songs automatically or completely manually
Adjust the bandwidth available for uploading songs
View the progress of songs that you’re uploading
Download any of the songs that you previously uploaded to your music library, as well as any song that you purchased from the Google Play store

I read with the latest version, it does not upload the music it scan and recognizes, and just from the google servers places the music in your google library.
course the music it doesn't recognize it uploads. (compatible music)

I've lately taken to streaming music from my media pc at home. It solves so many mobile issues....and, admittedly, raises a couple new ones.

Most of my streaming is done to my work machine. I don't listen to music on my phone often enough to be concerned with data
