I'm definately considering it, assuming I can somehow get my ass up there, but plenty of time to figure something out.

I'll just hang out in the back of Trythis1's van and drink liquor all the way there. Then again, it could be a pain in the ass if we hit bad weather.

I WOULD NOT let even the worst of winter driving stop me from driving somewhere if i wanted to go. Driving will not be my excuse if i end up not going

Well, guess jody just cannot drive during a flood. so since it will be the dead of winter, he should be ok.

But should Jody get stuck in a flood like that again, just call Touque to come and scuba you out! ;)

Touque's just a rookie diver. No dives under his belt.

I have heard this before .... and it doesnt always work out in practice. Mind you I have had to drive through some pretty damn bad conditions before (BC interior will do that to you) but oddly enough most of the time its when temperatures are jumping between +2 to say -5 that roads get really bad. Brings that black ice stuff ... warm enough to melt the snow and then the freeze makes it slippery....

well, just to set the record straight, I drove my car though something like that and made it. granted, it was not all that long, but yup, that did not stop me.

I have driven though very bad snow, no problem

The only thing that scares the shit out of me is actual freezing rain.

Really? Neat! You must have one of those amphibious cars that can process both air and water in the intake. :P
