HallowLAN 2009 Setup

Post by AlphaDrake »

Was debating making a new thread, figured this would get some more attention.

Who can (and is) help set up for HallowLAN?

We need someone there at 8am because Shaw can show up anytime from 8am to 4pm and someone has to be there during that time.

I know latency is going to be there almost all day, but I think he wants to spend more time on the decorations and such, which means we need some people to help set up the network and tables and power and such. I can't be there until about 2:30 to 3pm.

For whoever is setting up, I think it's going to have to be fairly specific (60 people is alot...) and I was thinking of setting up similar to how fragapalooza sets up to maximize our space (back to back rows).

The other thing is, we need some more tables. Some of the Goldbar ones have 'DO NOT USE' on them, and theres only enough for ~48 people I think. Does anyone have any tables they can bring?

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

I can't be there until 5:30pm or so. If asisstance is still required at that point I'd be happy to help.

I have a fold out table I can donate (I don't want it), but I can't transport it. It's too damn long for the Versa :P

I have 5 tables in my garage that I can bring if someone helps with the wheels. I think James borrowed some as well ... or someone that had a LAN in recent times ..... damn my memory.

Perhaps I could get the key to zeromus then?

I just don't want Shaw showing up at 8, having nobody be there, and leaving us with no internet for the weekend...
