Yeah, ti's a crazy deal for sure. They offered that price to us for the LAN be4 HallowLAN but I gave them full price anyways. We gotta treat those guys good, it's already dirt cheap already anyways and they let us get away with a lot. We're already lucky we didn't get shit for the skid marks someone left on the lawn from someones 4x4 adventure @ hallowlan.

oh, and count me in for the LAN for sure. make sure to start a thread for it too.

Hey I am interested in coming to this event. I don't have left for dead 2 or cod 6, or a few of the other games

are there 'special' versions that are played at these parties?

I don't know how COD6 is going to work as a LAN game with the whole server thing, I haven't followed it. L4D2 will probably be played alot, as with Team Fortress 2 (which goes on sale on steam for $2.50 to $5 from time to time).

We have versions of Battlefield 2, call of duty 4, Flatout, ETQW, UT, Supcom, and Civ4 that you can use without a key at the LAN.

Someone can look into it, but the Dedicated server has been hacked, apparently hackers created their own. ;)

Vid card is alright. Wishing I had the 4850 though as I ended up giving up on Linux. I have always been a fan of ATI's 2D quality. If you ever wanna trade back, let me know :). Your EVGA does overclock very nice. Flashed the BIOS to 700/1700/2200 and it runs great.

Anyways, those that don't remember, this is Melbogia's friend from way back when GL started. We ran into each other on kijiji when I was looking to trade my ATI card for a NVIDIA equivalent. Small world :)
