If you guys are having glitches and poor performance in UT, there is an OpenGL fix that is freaking awesome. Wish I would have had this last night. My brightness was at 100% and it was still dark as hell. Now it is normal at 50% and the performance is crazy good. It's on my shared folder under:

\games\UnrealTournament\OpenGL Fix\

copy OpenGLDrv into your \UnrealTournament\System\ folder and replace the old one. make sure you launch UT and go to the options and make sure you're using OpenGL Renderer instead of Direct3D. you'll be good as gold.

I also added a Direct3D driver that uses DirextX9. It's in \games\UnrealTournament\Direct3D9 fix\

Do the same thing as you would with the OpenGL fix.

Well ... except for your background picture. Likely you wont complain TOO much or you shouldn't anyways.

Tonight would have been a great game to go to, it had it all. Lots of fights, goals, great saves and a win for the boys in blue - it's been a long time since we've seen that kind of hockey at home. :P
A limited supply of surprisingly, as this homeboy is poised for the big time. Sweet and pure like a honey coated nun, SOULS well sure he funky in the 70s.

I had a pretty damn good time guys. First night was my fav. Lots of energy and plenty of UT CTF. I got really tired as the LAN went on and by night #2 I just wasn't myself. Sunday was pretty good and I'm glad I finally tried out Trackmania, definitely need to play that at every lan. This group really does kick ass. We're all VERY lucky to know each other and keep in contact like we all try and do. I gotta give a big shout to some ppl:

Dolphin - Thanks for hangin out and being a good friend the whole weekend, even when I was a grumpy ass bitch on Saturday night. I get dibs on sitting with you at the next LAN. And thanks for bringin the TV and driving all the way back home Saturday night to bring the remote. U r frinking awesome.

Gomer - You have a great LAN attitude man. Always wanting to play and always asking me if I wanna join in. Thanks for all the help cleaning Sunday, you went way above and beyond what is considered to be helpful.

Touque - Thanks for the WDTV! Thanks for coming and hangin out even though you had no PC.

James and Fibrer - Thanks for the ganja and the good company. I was in a MUCH better mood after you guys came to visit ... but man did it hit me hard. I almost greened out while bringin Dan's TV up the stairs (haha good thing i didn't).

r337 - Thanks for telling me about dinks that barmp :)

fitty - thanks for breaking my PSU, asshole.

Vik - pooh cookies were awesome. maybe next time I won't be too grumpy then too stoned to socialize a great deal with ya :P. btw, the blonde is hot :P.

The Smokers - I know it's bad, but it's nice to not be alone. Thanks for the company outside :).

RTS guys - Thanks for letting me install UT on your machines. And a bigger thanks for actually playing and having a good time with the GLFPS crowd! It was superb fun!

Zero and Dragonfire - Power was EXCELLENT. no problems, perfect LAN in that regard. Job well done.

I don't have the energy right now to thank everyone individually, but GL is awesome because you are all a part of it. Everyone is an important piece of the puzzle, even the guys that didn't come to this one but came to visit ... even guys from the past that no longer lan with us.

You all helped out really awesome near the end. Things got cleaned up in record fashion. I think after 2 hours the place was cleaner than we had left it. Marshal was once again so happy with how we left the place.

Oh, and after paying for half the net and half the hall with megafps, GL had a profit of $215. I gave all of it to zero for all of the stuff he's bought for us. Every single person gave me cash and no one skipped out. Thanks a bunch you guys! Until next time.
