I think commo from frag is bringing a linux box to serve as a router, and will setup QOS accordingly.

K guys, cost of LAN is $20 per head. GL and and MegaFPS are splitting the profits 50/50. All of GLs profit will go to zero for all of the equipment he has purchased for this LAN and HallowLAN 2009. Hope everyone's cool with that. I know for a fact he's spent at least $200 in the past few years.

P.S. - I will be taking $30 from the fund for a 12 pack of beer (and diet coke) for the organizers :).

K, one last minute thing ....

I won't be bringing my projector this time. I don't think this is a big deal. BUT, I would like to still watch a movie in the basement for friday and saturday late night. Can anyone bring a smallish LCD with a HDMI hookup? I can bring my WDTV Live so we can stream stuff from the network. Or maybe I can convince Touque to bring his WDTV as I have a feeling it won't go over well with the family.

So far, I'm coming, my friend Syn is coming for the duration of the LAN, and another friend named Fred is coming to visit. I'm not sure if he is going to LAN per say. I know he's coming to show off his laptop and check out what us young punks are playing these days. Just a heads up how ever, he did lose his legs in an accident and he's still trying to adjust. I don't want people to get caught off guard by this fact but he's a pretty good guy. Loves building computers and researching hardware. So again a heads up, he may advertise his services if you show a bit too much interest in his fine builds...

Great stuff. You'll have to bring your HDMI cable and remote too. Damn WDTV has no buttons, not even power. Sucks.
