r337ards building a fire

Post by r337ard »

So, since I'm leaving next week (can't stay till Hallowlan sadly) I propose we have a fire and possibly a BBQ somewhere before I head off. Joe and I talked about going to a spot down by the North Saskatchewan just on the east end of the city this Sunday. Anyone interested? Anyone have an alternative proposition?

[JOE EDIT]

Yeah so it's official. Meet at the co-ordinates (53.628576,-113.320816) at around 5:30ish. Bring the following:

- Fold up chair.
- Drinks
- Warm jacket (it will be close to freezing!)
- Bundle of wood from your local gas station.

I'm gonna bring some hotdogs and buns, maybe 2 dozen or so. We will get hungry I'm sure. I'm also bringing a tent and camping gear just in case we get out of hand and can't drive :). I also have an axe.

[/JOE EDIT]
A limited supply of surprisingly, as this homeboy is poised for the big time. Sweet and pure like a honey coated nun, SOULS well sure he funky in the 70s.

I would offer my yard up if you like.
Got some pallets, firewood chopped, cedar shakes, BBQ to cook with and decent amount of room.

I would just ask that people try bring some wood as not to use all my winter stock :-)

That would be logistically awesome! Doing it by the river sounds great, but would be harder to pull off.

Wish I could go but being self employed has its ups and its downs, right now money is to tight to plan any trips... Take good care out east R33t, I miss you already :p

Sunday definitely works best for me. Tuesday is a possibility too. Saturday is unlikely to work at all.
