UT LAN

Post by Maleboligia »

After Latency posted a pic of a very old UT match from I think an STS LAN, I started playing a bit. I think(and I think Latency agrees) that we should have a UT LAN.

I have a garage in my place, not huge but easily can handle 6-8. I don't want a big LAN because then it gets segmented with different games. Who's interested? Not sure when yet, I am open to suggestions.

Just a heads up I am not in Edmonton I am in Spruce Grove, but we are walking distance from anything you could need.

I would be definitely interested in this depending on the timing. The 2 weekends after the LAN, I am free. But otherwise, I will have to book/trade some days to make it.

awww did someone try to deep fry a graphics card, or make a Hard drive panini, or at least try to grill a CPU trying to make a McIntel. not like the high society folk that work in the Co-op  ... You know its bad when the motto around the lumber yard is "Hi I work a co-op, whats your disability!"

Theres alot of interesting people (usually the long term ones) who perform menial jobs for shit wage. I once worked with a guy who had a PhD in math and all he did was drive forklift and do grunt work, he told me that one day he just burned out and didn't want to do it anymore and wanted something easy, left the school he was teaching at and joined the blue collar gang.

Any updates, Mel? Is it still happening or are you cancelling due to lack of interest. Because I'm still interested but would like a heads up if you plan on cancelling.
