Doesn't MEGAFPS make you buy a membership too, which costs like $25 for the year. I went to one 2 years ago, the one where they broke the door in the community hall. They charged me $25 or so just to join the group plus the money to go to the lan. I think Stoop knows about this too.

I think I have this right, there was a guy called Paulbot or something like that and another guy called wagonburner (i think).

There isn't a yearly membership, and while I wasn't part of megafps back when they did the halls, I know those two guys are no longer a part of the group. We haven't broken anything at any of our past locations, and ratton/axiom/scald/entune have been to our LAN's, if you have any doubts about us, ask them what we are like. Then you receive an unbiased opinion.

Oh yah, and they had an adult only "tent" set up so that the kiddies wouldn't be exposed to porn. However, a bunch of the other guys had the porn rolling constantly anyways. They just did the tent thing as a front. I had some good BF2 battles with them though, I also learnt some soldering techniques from some guy from RedDeer (I have never seen so many lights and switches on a pc before).

Yeah they quit about a year ago, there was a smaller group that was planning to rise from the ashes, not sure if that happened or not.
