Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Post by rob[GL] »

According to IMDB the release date is May 25, which may seem like a long way off, but we're already half-way through March. April will not take long and the end of May will be here before you know it, and if you've been as big a fan of the Pirates movies thus far, I'm sure you're as eagerly awaiting this as I am. I will bump this thread as the date gets closer, but it never hurts to get the idea in the back of everyones mind that Pirates 3 will be (or should be) a huge GL event, so on with the drama;

Well bollocks!

I sure hope so, but I understand if everyone wants to skip this, Pete's moving away was kind of sudden...

Even though I planned like 3 months in advance.

Don't let my spontaneous life altering decisions effect your plans for a movie guys... I really did spring this on everyone all of a sudden.

Well Pete, would you show up for the Movie, you claimed to be "in" when the thread was posted. To get tickets, show up early enough to get seats, and then go back to Latency's to resume lanning would probably take ~3+ hours. It would be ideal to do both, but if it's unfeasable, I say the LAN takes precedence - simply because it's only a 2-day event, and the first Joe has hosted in a long time.

Also, just found out there are *4* theatres in the Edmonton area doing an advanced screening at 8PM on Thursday night, anyone up for that?

City Ctr maybe?

Strange, now they ALL say thursday at 8pm, so maybe the official release is thursday, not friday... And that means we can pick any theatre we want....

That's presuming people still want to go see this movie???

It no longer conflicts with petes send-off lan party...

Everyone else needs to post in this thread, and pick a theatre! Most likely everyone will say South Common, so I'll just toss that out now...

Though City Center would be easier, I think, because I'm Northside and it would make getting there a little easier for me.

But the majority live southside, so I'll let the majority make the decision.

:D :D :D
