Sapphire X1900 XTX 512 Meg PCI-E. Never OC'd and in excellent condition. Still very fast according to some charts I've seen - $125

Wow, good card and good deal. I'll ask my father in-law. He's looking to upgrade soon to a PCI-E board and this would be a HUGE upgrade from his $45 AGP card :).

Did some more research and saw a 3850 beat it in a weighted average of many games on Tom's hardware. The 3850 can be had for $185 but it also has Shader 4 and DX10 capability. So..you may have to lower it a bit more to sell an X1900XTX which is DX9 and only Shader 3.

I offered him $5.00 last night on msn... LOL

Realistically, if he dropped his price to $100... It would probably sell in a week.

If he dropped his price to $75.00 ... It would sell in a day.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it, if it takes a few days extra to sell who cares? Besides, I'd spend a little more to pick up hardware from Tony because I know I'm not inheriting his problems.

That's cool man.

The card for $185 is for 256 megs of ram. Mine has 512. The 1900 XTX still blows that 3850 256Meg away when you're talking about using AA or Anisitrophic filtering in conjunction with higher resolutions on most games. There are a few where that 3850 will beat it though.

Joe, would your dad take it for $50? He can have it for that.

I have to concur with the 3850 being slower. In reality, it is slower than the X1900 series cards. I tend to take THG's reviews with a grain of salt, knowing that there is only a half-truth to them. Since most players are still sticking with XP, there is no point on pushing the 38xx series on anyone.

Yeah, I'll force him too! That's kick ass Tony! Are you sure? If so, put it aside. If he does not buy it, I will buy it for him :).
