So if it hasn't been deactivated yet they were trying to screw us for the $100 install fee without needing to send a line tech at all? Nice.

also made it a global thread so no one can get this confused with the gazillion other smarchlan threads people are making :)

with the new version of phpbb. so yeah, been here for a year and no one ever used it :)

bought a few more 100 ft 15 amp power cords for the lan. Will be going to 4 computers per breaker this round

I still log locus's buddies power cords, so we still have lots for this lan


any word on the calgary crew?

oh, yeah. wasn't thinking of the net though. they are probably the most hardcore fps players we have. they always bring it and it's awesome having guys like that around. hope they come for that reason alone.

Are we able to throttle connections internally? I would love it if people were capped at a certain speed so the tubes don't get clogged up with torrent traffic. It's nice to be able to check your mail once in a while during a LAN.
