Nighttime can get pretty cool, you're allowed to close the door :)

Otherwise there is the room where the spare tables/chairs are for sleeping. It's tough with such a small venue though, that was one good thing about Gold Bar having the basement

I know you can close the door. I was just ticked somebody opened it during the night.

Well, I like to think I had a bit of fun (though I was terribly tired by 12:30 PM Sunday and bowed out shortly after) for my first LAN. Too bad I didn't get in BSG, but CAH made up for it rather nicely. I kinda wished there was a way to track who was mainly playing what, since I missed out on the single Borderlands 2 LAN session, and there wasn't a second session of Torchlight 2. I suppose the Steam group would help, but I'd need an invite. Name's same as here.

yah, it was fun. I like playing wired older games at lans, I don't buy new games when they come out most of the time. I wish we could have rounded up more players for our Halo PC game. and maybe played some UT as well. otherwise it was a bit of black mesa, minecraft and dirt 3 for all i played.

Gomer saw me use my favorite benchmark at the lan. yes i'm kinda old school for using a Dx8.1 bench such as 3dmark 2001se but it works and it's paid for. (not really paid for)

The issue with the door left open over night can be prevented by replacing the door-stop at bottom of the door. I didn't have this problem because I double checked the door when I used it, and I had to fix the door-stop a couple of times for myself. It falls down easily and thus the door is left open. I saw it happen twice from others.

And as insurance, we can put a sign on the door that says to leave it closed during the night.

Someone lost their boyscotts receipt in my car for 1 box of butter popcorn. I did not have anyone in my car this weekend, so i must have picked it up somehow.

Anyway, if you care about your receipt and yours is missing, gimmie a shout. Likely tax deduction.

Goldbar is still closed, they are/were trying to save up money to fix and renovate the place at the same time
