Almost complete computer.

Post by Qube »

Upgraded some components, would really like to get rid of everything as a package because I'm lazy and don't want to disassemble it. The price (in my opinion) reflects how motivated i am to get rid of it as a package.

Silverstone FT-02 W/ Window. One of the nicest cases that has ever existed.
ASUS X79-E WS Motherboard
Intel I7 3930K (6 Core)
32GB Kingston Hyper X DDR3 Memory (4x8GB - 4 slots remaining on board)
Arctic Cooling Liquid Cooler Freezer 120 CPU Cooler
Corsair M4 256GB SSD

I have transferred my video cards and power supply to my new build. The processor with that cooling is stable at 4.2Ghz if you're into overclocking. I didn't push it higher than that since I just wasn't comfortable doing so, but you might be able to get more out of it. 99% of the time I didn't run it overclocked simply because I never felt the need to and I just like my stuff running at a cooler temperature.

Looking for $600 all in.

curious what you upgraded too, I have almost this exact system build and could not find anything to upgrade to that would produce a noticeable performance increase in normal use, ( save if you got a situation where having many more cores outweighs speed by a long shot )

Just an i7 6700k. I wanted dual m.2 slots, so I have two Samsung 950 512gb in raid 0 which is hitting about 3-3.5Gbps.

Processor is likely a performance loss to be honest.

Lowered the price - I think when I priced it originally I wasn't thorough enough on eBay.

I'm sorry to kill your new computer boner but I want to give everyone else a boner.

I'm a man. I do manly things. Like drink vodka straight, while doing 1 armed chin-ups, and punching baby bunnies. All at the same time.

My buddy James at work is interested at $600. Is it still available?

So I have a buyer in BC and I really don't want to ship this to BC :(

Anyone local? I'll just bite the bullet and ship it probably end of the week if not.

I would truly be up for buying it, but unfortunately it is to much of a expenditure for me right now.

An old coworker's son wants to buy it. Did you ship it off yet?
