WTB 40+" HDTV

Post by Latency »

Finally got the OK from the wife to buy a big screen to compliment my sound system. Before looking new, I was curious to see if anyone had a used one that they were thinking of selling because of a recent upgrade. If not then does anyone have any recomendations? My budget for a new TV is $1000-$1500 but I might be able to go over if it's worth the extra cost.

Just FYI Joe, New LCD panels are set to drop in price 15-25% in the next month or two.

I saw futureshop had a sale on this weekend, don't know if it's still running, but there was a Sharp Aquos 46" LCD HDTV (1080p) for $1499

Thanks for the heads up dolphin. I'll make sure to wait then. I'm also considering a projector system instead.

Of all the HD movies I've seen, I was extremely impressed by the HD army of darkness. They did an amazing job of telecining that movie to HD.
