WTB 40+" HDTV

Post by Latency »

Finally got the OK from the wife to buy a big screen to compliment my sound system. Before looking new, I was curious to see if anyone had a used one that they were thinking of selling because of a recent upgrade. If not then does anyone have any recomendations? My budget for a new TV is $1000-$1500 but I might be able to go over if it's worth the extra cost.

Thanks for the heads up dolphin. I'll make sure to wait then. I'm also considering a projector system instead.

Keep watching the sales. If you are going to go after a TV at Futureshop let me know. I know the guy you can talk too. He knows pretty much every thing about TVs that you can imagine. Well ... its cause he is asian ya see. hehe... j/k. He has actually been selling TVs out of Futureshop for several years now and is a good buddy of mine.

Of all the HD movies I've seen, I was extremely impressed by the HD army of darkness. They did an amazing job of telecining that movie to HD.
