Well, I've gone with Thursday Night, South Common. @7PM should others attempt to go that is when I am going.

Fitty and I are going to North Common. South Common under-drives their bulbs to save money. Acceptable for some movies, but not this one.

meh...
If quality was a concern, you'd be going to the imax showing.

Bigger != higher quality. In fact, your mind adjusts quickly to the screen size and it's no different than watching it on a regular screen.....unless you're consciously thinking about it.

IMAX Screen != Regular Screen.

They have a silver coating that maximizes the reflected light.

The imax projectors also are superior in Lumens and resolution.

Your arguement holds no water really.

Also, if quality was a concern, why not see the Digital version? North Common is not showing the Digital version.

Real Imax is definately worth it. A lot of movies converted to imax are poor examples. So I am thinking your both right in a way. but IMAX is good

Truly, imax filmed media really shows the true superiority of the imax technology.

I find just displaying a normal film on the IMAX screen not so great.

But that is not what Dolphin argued. :roll: Though I am sure, that will be his comeback "That is what I meant!" lol.

I was, but there's no way I can claim it now, so w/e.

And they're showing Monsters vs Aliens and Wolverine in digital on Thursday in South Common, not Star Trek.

i would not get all worked up in the quality thing anyway, all theaters are pretty much ass as far as quality goes in some way. When you wanna talk quality, talk about it in the home

You have it backwards. Even high def does not come close to the detail present in theatre film.
