K guys, lets start the sign-up. But first, the poster art featuring zeroumus as Rammstein :



HallowLAN 2009

When: October 23-24-25th weekend! Starts at 7:00PM Friday

Where: GoldBar Community Hall 4620-105 Ave

Cost: $15

Organizers:

- Latency (responsible for signups, decorations, and LAN setup)
- Alphadrake (signups for MegaFPS and LAN schedule creator)
- Grapes (he is the man you pay to get in, he'll be scary I'm sure. He'll probably end up helping me do everything too . Thanks Chad .
- Zero (taking care of all networking gear so that things run smooth as butter)
- Locus, Winchester, and I are carving 20 pumpkins around 1:00PM friday.

Rules: Just respect the place and the people around you. Don't do stuff that you wouldn't want anyone to do at your own LAN. Drink indoors and smoke outside, keep things at a responsible level. You will be asked to leave if you are shitfaced.

What to bring:

- Sleeping Bag and Pillow + everything you may need if you are sleeping over.
- Power Bar (a must as we will only be supplying extension chords).
- A fully functional computer and monitor (LCD please). Please don't build your computer at the LAN or install Windows, be ready to play form the moment you walk in the doors.
- Costume for Saturday night.

- Costume Contest on Saturday night ($50 for MemX ... might have prizes for 2nd and 3rd too).
- Horror Flicks on both nights (we will have a projector).

Original date, the weekend before halloween, would work best for everyone with kids.

I originally wanted the week before but changed my mind. I threw Alpha a PM before I did the post. It'll be Halloween weekend. He just hasn't read the PM yet probably.

Yeah but I just can't pass up the opportunity to have HallowLAN on Halloween. It'll be more epic this way. Besides, the place will be decked out crazy with halloween atmosphere. People can bring their kids by and trick or treat in the neighborhood; this is what I'll be doing.

haha, I think you're the only one who noticed the pic . and thanks Jody.

Just my 2 cents here, but we're going to be missing every parent for most of Saturday if we have it the weekend of Halloween. I understand that you're trying to make the family events and the lan events jive, but I don't really see them as being compatible.
