Whoever was at wing night, it seemed to be the day everyone was going.

went to the 7pm show tonight at south common. My first time in the ultra avx theatre, pretty decent upgrade over the regular theatre, not to sure how it compares to imax 3d. The movie was good, story was a little lackluster but the special effects rocked. Music by Daft Punk was great, I liked there cameo in the bar scene.

the picture quality in the AVX is way better than what i saw at TRON 3d. I suspect there is a picture quality lose when going to 3d even in the AVX. Using polarized filters would certainly do that.

View a 2d movie in the avx and you will agree it is the best experience atm

ALRIGHT ... I talked to Joe about this already as he has yet to see Tron 2. Since I haven't seen it and I know some of the rest of you are procrastinators like myself I am recommending seeing this gem this Friday afternoon for any of you who have the time off. I am not sure what the holiday show times are going to be (since we cant book them yet....) but once they are available how about something as close to 2 PM as possible so it doesnt interfere with peoples XMAS-EVE plans?

I'd be down. If none other than to see you grapes. Where the hell were ya on wings night?
