I think that is a good idea. Anyone disagree?

That's the same "in the boonies- no one talk to us!" type of place we sat last year, just on the other side.
I would opt for 6 and 7.

6 and 7 are the fucking Rock Band Central isles. I'd rather be a bit over from that.

It's pretty close to the event and I haven't seen anything about a GL reserved area or being able to pick seating yet - am I doing it wrong?

to add

less projectiles coming your way
less people slamming into tables attemping to get swag
less rock band
less heat
less smell :)

the only real positive thing i can think off is it will increase your chance of getting swag and a hug from spincter

People bumped our chairs because we were in the 6' row.

Projectiles are fun.
I know, zero, that's a foreign word, but here's a definition:
fun
   [fuhn]
noun
1.
something that provides mirth or amusement

I'd be in favour of avoiding the rock band area. But that doesn't mean we have to flee to the edge of the event like kids scared to dance at their junior high prom.

bah ... the rows we were looking at are fairly close to the head table and where all the fun is going to be anyway. We wont be parriahs at the edge of Fraga-Civilization anymore.

Id take the flipside of the arguement and say its more like avoiding the wankers acting like its the junior high prom.

Is there a slutty dance contest this year?
