I am looking to sell 2 of my hard drives. They are both less than 6 months old. I am looking into upgrading my motherboard, and now the MOBOs don't come with 2 IDE busses, and 2 16x PCI slots on the same board.

The one drive is a 300GB (279GB) Maxtor drive.
The second is a 320GB (298GB) Western Digital Drive.

I would like $90 for each, obo

Thats not far off what those drives are new. You might want to reconsider your asking price, or reconsider selling them given what you're likely to get.

r337 is right...

Consider just throwing them in USB2 enclosures... then you can use them on the new mobo. :)

Ok, I can't tell, is the asking price too high or what?

Second thing, I don't want those drives anymore. I would like to move all of my Hard drives over to SATA just so that I am not relying on slightly slower technology. I have the money to upgrade, and that is what I am going to do.

I would normally be jumping at the offer, however, the 320GB drive is only 3 weeks old. That is the only reason why I am asking $90, they are pretty much brand new.

The reason my buddy offered that was warranty...

If you have the receipt for it, I'll let him know, and he may take it for $90 then.

Heheh... as he mentioned in the Original Post... IDE... he going to be switching to a motherboard that no longer has IDE ports onboard, so the drives are no good to him.
