Hey Grapes I would make sure everyone in os the same page with respect to jersey or at least the same color. I heard that the summer league are quite picky when it comes to shit like all having the same style. I had to buy blue pants for the team I joined as black were a no go...fuckers.

Also last night was playing and got beaned in the eye. I can still see out of it so you needent worry, I'll still PWn your ass at TF2 (someday). 8 stitches, 4 hours later and a hell of alot of swelling I am fine. Didn't hurt and does not hurt right now either but I cannot drive much less play ball hockey. Thing that gets me tho is I have been playing without a helmet for years now, one errant shot and I am on the visor bandwagon. Thing that really sucks is my helmet was in my bag, no one else wore one so I said fuckit, stoopid move.

So as I write this with one eye I am appointing myself the "safety douche" and asking that everyone playing, league or not, start thinking about getting one.

dev is correct about team colours - they'll give you a few games to get sorted out, especially as you're a new registration, but you need to get all players wearing the same getup. either everyone wears the same colour pants, or the same colour shinpads/socks/shorts. also i do recommend wearing at least a half-visor, a guy i know took a stick in the eye and is at like 20% operation on that eye now.

The first game was pretty brutal. We lost 11-4 but held it pretty close until the second period. We were getting pretty screwed up with our line changes and such but tonight will be a different story!! We have lots to talk about next practice for sure. I would like to set one up for Wednesday but we will see what happens with that!! hehe.
