im going to be using it as a media center and hooking up the hdtv you sold me to it, so a tv/component out would be preferable thanks

well im running a amd 3500 with gig a ram and 6600 gt and it works fine.. is that not somewhat on par with the p4?

A 3500+ is a far more capable processor than the P4 2.4.
