Cool will remember for the next one, unless Zero is selling his sweet TV for a good price.
Re: WTB 40+" HDTV
I saw Visions had a sale on this weekend, Sharp Aquous 42" LCD HDTV... It was probably only 720p/1080i and not 1080p... However, the price was $900

um, Kind of what Rob said.
Re: WTB 40+" HDTV
Hmmm, that's a really good deal. And TBH, on a smaller screen like 42", the difference between 1080p and 720p shouldn't be that noticeable when you are sitting far back on a couch.

Re: WTB 40+" HDTV
Truthfully, I don't see a difference when I switch between 720p and 1080p on my 40" LCD.
And like most reviewers say, 1080p truly shines at the 60" plus size.

Re: WTB 40+" HDTV
Yeah, I would have totally loved to get a 1080P projector but the cost is simply too high. That's one application where one would be sure to see a significant increase in detail.

i am gonna agree a little, 720 vs 1080 at normal viewing distances on normal sized units is not that big of a deal
