I don't see how a "Release Party" for this game would really be any good for this group of people.
No plays on the same server, some are alliance, some are Horde.
So what would be the point of play together on the release of WoLK? Social? well, we have a vent server we could use...
But it isn't like anyone will want to start from scratch on release.
Just pointing out what I think are flaws for a WoLK release party.

But the game is so huge, half the players have never even seen the other side of the alliance or Horde, I have never played Alliance as i kill the SCUM on sight!!!
I have a few people in Garagelan in my guild. I would be looking for more ideas from other people. Sometimes you hear other people thoughts on a game that you or I may never have thought of...
your right in that some people would show up and wouldn't be able to go to Malfurion or other servers for that matter.
As for starting from scratch, DK's start at lvl 55.....
I would even host a wowlan party. not sure if there would be any takers or not.

I am going this coming Thursday to Futureshop for "Gears of War 2" at Midnight though.... so I do not want to do 2 games like that.

Talked to guy on the phone he said they might have copies but hes not sure (at 12)
