We are still short for the cash collection. If you haven't done so, please drop $15 to either Grapes or me.

I thought the LAN was a lot of fun (as did the MegaFPS'ers as far as I can tell). We're willing to do another merger LAN if you guys are :) (much ass kickings will be dealt to those who said they would come but didn't)

Yeah, I had a good time. I don't think I've ever had so much fun with L4D.
Big thanks to the organizers. You guys put in a lot of work and I appreciate it.

I hope L4D2 supports MORE players ... dedicated local server software and MORE players. Always good to try running with a big group of survivors 8+ and a SHWACK load of zombie hordes!!

i think l4d would win me over a little more if it did indeed support more players

120 internal fps support would be a bonus too, 30 dont cut it

As it should be. The multiplayer feels very good with a small group of people. You already have the chaos of the hordes and all the nasty things the player-controlled specials (smokers, boomer, etc) can do to the survivors, it would be too much. Also consider 3-4 people all yelling out for help at once in that cluster fuck.

EXACTLY ... the sheer chaos of it would be fantastic!!! The battles would be super epic!!! :)

Left 4 Dead is not a great lan game imo. 4 player games I can play at home, 32 player games, i cannot.

8 player.

And what we should do.. is make a tournament out of it.

so say 32 peeps at the lan.
8 teams.
4 player teams, round robin like. prize to the winners.
