Well if we're doing wed then for lack of better planning: bo's has wing night and some decent wings (I still haven't managed to try their roasted garlic/red pepper...)
but anywhere else on wed or even thursday is good by me

Define 'socked'.

Like he got hit with a ball/stick/other piece of equipment or he got punched in his glass jaw and went down like a German should?
Heh ... there was NO going down or anything. We were playing for the ball in the corner and when I tried to get around him his elbow connected with my jaw. It was accidential but at the time it didnt even phase me. Saturday things were stiffening up a bit but their was no swelling etc. By Saturday night I thought I was getting a headache but it turned out it was just the size of my face growing.

Well by Monday night I had to go get this thing checked out. I was worried the hit could have either cracked my jaw or broken the inside of my tooth causing an abcess. This was neither ... it was a hemotoma - a collection of blood pooling in the location of my cheek bone. They lanced it and I kept bleeding so it is a good chance it is arterial in that this thing is still open on the blood vessel/artery side of the wound. So basically I have to take pills until my body does a couple of different things.

1) Re-absorb it in a few days which is the likeliest of the solutions.
2) Become infected and likley giving me that abcess tooth I was worried about which would be rare but could happen.
3) Not every quit pooling which would require surgery to go in and fix the artery/blood vessle rupture depending where it might be which is extremely rare but I was made aware of it as a possible issue.

So in other words .. no I wont be making an appearance for wings. I cant drink beer and the food I eat has to be prechewed right now anyways. Oh well ... time for some well soaked rice crispies!! :) mmmm ... lunch.

^ Then I would have to start calling you Robbbbbbbbbb. LOL. I could have had a piece of food get caught inside my mouth as it started in the gumline but I do regular dental care including flossing so it was just bad luck I guess.

Well I can see the human kindness still runs at about the same level in these forums!! Good to see some things dont change!! heh.

For those of you who were wondering, yes I am fine. I even dared to eat meat tonight for supper which seemed to go well. Been taking vitamins and drinking teas to keep the chances of infection down so hopefully I will be fine. The cheek is still pretty swollen but I am not anywhere near as much pain as I was on Monday so things are looking up. Mind you I am on good meds so WOOT .... I AM THE LIZARD KING!!!
