CoD4 can be installed and played multiplayer legit (need a key for single player)
Many MegaFPS/Gl members have mexican supcom
Flatout is free
There are pirated versions of Civ I believe
ETQW and L4d are cheap on Steam ($20 I think)

I'm really interested in Quake Wars. Apparently it runs better on linux than windows! supposed to be a great game too, like BF on steroids.

ETQW is cheap, just checked it out. Where is Flatout free? And what version of Trackmania will we try and play? The free one from steam?

Haha, I already have the folder prepared for copy over the network. All people have to do is copy the folder and run the executable, no installing needed. UT and UT2004.

Could this be copied to a couple of different locations for ease of access?? Your comp, the server Jody DAAAAAAAAY is bringing and maybe pop it onto my NAS. This way not everybody is trying to grab it from the same location all at once when the time comes for grabbin!!

It is all that most of the frag staff play, it takes effort to convince them to play something else

20 bucks on steam. Even if I only ever play it at the occasional lan that seems worth it, in the interests of keeping everyone playing the same game. I'll grab it.
