How about... Apple store at WEM?

It is soon to be opening.

One of my clients is friends with the person who was Hired as the General Manager of the store.

Are you guys sure the Cinema Displays are not vastly superior? man the sure, to me anyway, look a metric ton better than any LCD's that I've seen.. Shit, even my wifes 24" imac looks insane and it's only an imac...

I found my 21" LCD Gateway Display... displays alot better when I hook the macbook up to it, opposed to when the WinXP box is connected.

I am only assuming... but I am betting you are noticing the difference between WIndows/OSX difference in display quality.

I will find it, but I recall the Cinema Display and another Manufacturer... the Once the 30" Dell/HP are made from... which meant they were the same monitors.

I'll post it if I can find it again.

Doesn't Mac use Samsung panels?

Like I said, it is the same as another manufacturer... I'll find the article which names it.

Word from the mac dealer people I work with, Cinema displays used to be the shit years ago. But they haven't kept up. There are superior panels for less money nowadays. Namely from the Samsung, LG, and Dell camps.

My Mistake, they were using the same manufacturers in the 23/24" monitors.

The 30" are different.

Dell = Samsung S-PVA
Apple = LG.Philips S-IPS

And the LG.Philips one is being arguably touted as superior in quality.

Dell uses Samsung for the smaller panels ( less than 23\24 ) fo rizzle.
