Exactly ... a guildline. It will just make things easier for people to plan around. I expect to hear things like "We gotta go for lunch now cause the UT starts at 1" or "Somebody has to help Zero and Dolphin get their penis's out of their asses cause they wanted to play Left for Dead at 9". lol. Well okay I dont really expect people to say that cause we all know that any one of us would skip lunch to play UT. I stand by my second statement!!

I would suggest a Org charts on Dinner as it killed the FPS side of things everyday and we are not talking about a hour 1 or 2, it was hoursss. I know everyone doesn’t make a ton of money but ordering a $10 Pizza one night wouldn't be a bad thing and would add more gaming time.

I think scheduling the games would be a good idea as it at least gives a timeline for events. Now the problem is I am a RTS guy so I wouldn't really get involved in much unless our 2/3 hour game came to a end and the TF2 event was about to start. And to be honest I would only come if I knew that there was RTS people coming to play RTS games. I only have TF2 as a FPS game. And well if the RTS group wasn't allowed to come then I wouldn't be there to talk about it hehehe.

It will be hard to please both groups. the RTS group is pretty solid and organized, I would just get more FPS people to show and want to play games.

This was a great LAN and we can only build on it from here!!

I totally agree with ID10T ... I mean the RTS guys could /would jump into a FPS game if it was running. We just have to make sure that we actually RUN the game picked for the amount of time allocated. So if we say UT for 2 hours ... we play it for two hours. Besides I think for the next lan we will look for suggestions for games from everyone so we have a good balance. This way with these items on a schedule EVERYONE (ID10T included) would know what gaes to have installed and ready to play!! hehe

Dude, be positive. It was a great LAN that will be talk talked about for a bit. People that didn't come did so for good reason. No one holds anything against them. Disregard what I said if you're just being a fag .

i would of loved to come to the lan that i named. but needed to go to bc. just got home late last night too..

it was a good LAN yes there was some lack of gaming but everyone had fun. Something to remember though is GL has gotten older since it started. My first LAN was back around 2002(April LAN). i was either 19 or 20 at the time while grapes was 50 or 60 can't remember, actually don't think grapes was around at that point. either way a lot of people were not old enough to go out for drinks or just didn't care to. The fact we can still get together to play video games is awesome as is.

The one thing i remember from my first LAN was showing latency the ti4600 i had at the time. Man i paid way to much for that. There's a pic of it somewhere to. wow i had a lot more hair then.

gl has definatly grown and made it a long ways indeed cant even rememeber how far back it was when it was me, zero, blastman, mob, joe, blood (any other i forgot sorry)

Because we grown there's more oppion, more ideas, more choices

though tough it may seem sometimes, we are good at working things out and it will only get better.

exspantions come at a cost but only if ppl are not willing to work together

we've got so many ppl always attending more each time, we must be doing something right

so let just keep continueing to do what we do best and have fun

it was a great lan and i would have gotten a lot more involved with the group gaming experience if my friends computer didn't die and i was forced to pretty much play old school roms with him the whole lan.

Do I have to point out that you have a penis. Also, as I remember it, you have at least 2 children, which means that you have received your share of tang so being deprived for a week or so shouldn't be a huge concern. The only case in which you are truly responsible is if you need to drive someone to the hospital, and that's only if it's your wife (she being the primary family ambulance service)

Wow...I almost don't know how to respond to that...

First...I in fact have 3 children (but good guess!) but they are with the she-devil (previous wife). As for receiving my share of tang...I don't know about you, but that is impossible. Had she not been going away for a week, I would have attended. Had I left her alone for those few days before she left, I may as well have named each of my hands and performed some sort of "binding ceremony" as that would be the closest I would get to "tang" in quite some time.

I did get grilled by Grapes at the hockey game on Friday about it...and while I really wanted to go, and feel bad that I was unable to make it, I would like someone other than "Debbie" and "Helene" to keep me company at night.

heh ... yep you cant fault him for that. As much fun as a lan is the family unit is pretty important especially where it is the wife you got to be nicey nicey with!!
