TF2 is a fricken blast to play, and most of the guys at work will get together and commit slaughter for a few hours. CoD4 maybe?

Crysis, like FarCry, seems to have fun single player action....but like FarCry I don't think it's multiplayer would be anything special.

For what I heard, Crysis MP wasn't all that is was hyped up to be. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to.

The training for Crysis's multiplayer looked impressive. But it looked like you needed large games to have fun with it. Like battlefield large.

Will I need to buy TF2 or is there "acquired" copies floating around? Unfortunately i'm a poor bitch that can't afford to live. Damn school sucking my soul. If I can't purchase it should there be a point in even coming if I want to get some gaming done? Plus I don't see my damn friends name on the list. You can take my legs if he becomes more of a problem than I am when I'm really high out of my tree. He's coming down to Edmonton just for this event.

Last lan, we were taught by the scalded one, and others I am sure...

Just copy another users folder, and you can play LAN games fine.

my gut feeling is, if you do not wish to play TF2 or can not play TF2, you will be board

we should have no problem keeping the games offline for mexico people. However, i dont know if that requires disconnecting the net, if it does indeed require that, the room mates will have final say on how the internet is configured.

Someone will have to verify.
But I recall at Latency's last lan, we were playing TF2 and with Mexico people, and people still had WoW going that were not playing TF2.

So that means the Internet can remain connected.

It's looking less likely that I'll be able to make this one. If someone needs my spot they're welcome to have it. Sorry.
I'll still probably drop in to say hello.

Never take a Expert player on in a lan with the new game he finds good!

So, just to confirm. Is my friend permitted to come or not? I have to tell him to turn in his tickets if he's not. Like I said, he's coming down to Edmonton just for this event and he takes the bus. So if he's not invited he want's to return his tickets.
