Anybody have one kicking around in an old PC case or mobo box?

Do you need the slot plate?
I have the port... that is mounted into the case, my old case here has those slots you put the ports into, it has the parallel port in it.
I have a parallel port in a slot plate, but along with it, is the PS2 port too.
You are welcome to both if you like.

That'll work, I simply won't connect the PS2 to the header on my board. Can we meet up some time this weekend? How much do you want for it?

I'll drop it in the mailbox this morning when I head out to do some work.
Don't worry about it dude. haha, not worth anything.
Maybe a beer or something next time I am over.

Mertz,
I've pulled the ports from those cases.
They're all 25 pin, on both ends.
Also, the picture of the product... and even the description of the product you linked, is Serial.
But the name says Parallel.
You you want a serial one, like the picture shows? I have that...
But my parallels are 25 pin on the ribbon side though.
From the product page you linked.
Product Info

Hmmm... I haven't actually torn my case open to confirm exactly what I see, but based on the manual for my board (Gigabyte P35-DQ4 I believe) I should have a header for a parallel port. I'll rip er open tonight and confirm.

Tell ya what, I'll drop off the serial port, with the PS2 port on the back plate... and a loose parallel port, then you can decide which you need or want, and swap on to the back plate.
I am off, they'll be in the mailbox when you get home.
Cya!

Thanks buddy, the 25-pin one that shares the plate with the serial port seems to be working!
You want these other two back?
