I am selling this on Kijiji too but thought I would offer it here in case anyone was interested.

I am downsizing considerably after being tired of lugging around this heavy camera in the bush and along rivers when I flyfish. I would take way more pictures if I had the camera on me but like I said, it's heavy especially when I'm doing the things I love. The IQ is absolutely amazing and it's a full frame sensor meaning it's huge and you'll get almost no noise. Lenses are all pro grade too and very durable with very fast/quiet autofocus.

- Canon 5D w/ custom pro comfort strap (bought used 6 months ago, excellent condition) - $1350 (selling for $2200 new if you can still find one)
- Canon 17-40 f4L - USM - $700 ($930+GST new)
- Canon 70-200 f4L USM - $550 ($800+GST new)
- Canon 50mm f1.4 USM (bought brand new a few months ago, very hard to find and had to wait 5 months on backorder) - $400 (475+GST new)
- Lowepro Slingshot 300 Slingpack (few months old) - $100 ($150+GST new)
- Lowepro Orion Trekker Backpack - $75 (paid $120)
- Cokin P Series Holder w 2 and 4 stop ND Soft Grads + various ring adapters (77mm, 62mm, and 52mm) - $80 (paid about $175 for it all)
- Hoya Polarizer 62mm - $35
- Hoya Polarizer 77mm (ultra slim digital) - $50
- Hoya UV Filter 62mm - $20
- Hoya UV Filter 77mm (pro digital) - $35
- Manfrotto Tripod 190XDProB w/head- $180 (Paid $260+GST)

Don't know. A water-proof point n' shoot with a 24-300 full frame equivalent. I'm sure one exists, just haven't done the research yet. I am at the point where I would rather get the shot. I hiked into an amazing natural lake created from a landslide in a canyon. It was the most amazing scene I have ever seen. There was an entire forest in the middle of the small lake and it was all white washed and eerie in between two canyon walls. Alas I got no pictures because it was a dangerous hike along canyon walls in white water. We caught so many amazing fish but no proof. I got upset and this is the result. This isn't the first time either. I have kept my camera at home more times than I can remember because of the sheer weight and volume.

Seems lame but meh.

Yeah man. After chatting with Amy I am deciding to hold off on selling this. What I might do is invest in a one lens system like say a 24-70 F2.8L. I can sell my 17-40mm and 50mm and get the 24-70. I mainly like portraits (50mm 1.4) and Wideangle (17-40). The 24-70 would be perfect and fast. This will cut down my weight and volume considerably. Investing in a better bag will help too. I just gotta find a way to get good quality while not weighing me down.

Me too, you take good shots with that thing.

My suggestion would be to have both. Have a little point and click to tote around when you don't want to drag out your rig.
