So the lan is now a get together. It will be on Friday, just come by if you wanna shoot the shit and have a beer. I think Joe is coming, any time after 6 is good, just BYOB I will have hot chocolate, snacks, etc and lots to watch if we decide to. I still wanna do the retro lan, maybe a bit further off so more can make it.

Gomer I am still up for Serious Sam if you are, my HTPC can run it so you can use that, if it's SS2 my laptop can likely run it for a 3rd person too:)

I can come on the 27th. The 20th, I have to work Sunday so it would be pretty difficult to get my sleeping schedule correct. I could do the 20th but I would have to leave early. Sign me up, either way. I would book sunday off, but it's too short of notice.

Going to be the best retro lan EVA! Just the 3 of us. Can't wait to school you 2 at UT! ... I'm banned, aren't I? I would ask if we can do some Freelancer, but it would take a lot of time to get established in the galaxy... It would be fun, though.

New game that looks pretty similar to Freelancers theme. Evochron Mercenaries. It just came out on steam. Might be a good alternative to Freelancer if indeed you guys wanted. I know I've played Freelancer so many times over that I almost know all the secret locations off by heart.

I kind of saw the little amount of warning being a problem. We could still coop Serious Sam quite easily if you want to keep this going.

3-4 can still be a great LAN, just not so much if you planned to play UT all weekend. Serious Sam is great with just a few people, Empire Earth is awesome (if you're into it) as a comp stomp with 3-4, games like Flat Out would be amazing too. If you wanted it's small enough to play MAME games too, like Street Fighter or some of the co-op titles.
