rob are you saying you want a 1000 dollars... firm? if so forget it... as soon as new intel processors come out and dx 10 cards come out and 1 gig of ram... helll games require at least 1 gig nowadays....

For you to build a low-end core2duo system (E6400) with a similar mainboard, DDR2 memory, upgraded video card with DX10 support, and liquid cooled - you're easily looking at spending $1500+
This system will be fast enough to play games for another 1-2 years. DX10 isn't just going to take over the world, for the next couple of years all games will be backwards compatible with DX9.
